KATIA’S BOOKS
Books Katia has authored outside of Glow in the Dark or participated in, many proudly supporting great social causes.
Please note that unlike most of our Studio titles, someof these are for mature audiences. Books marked with * are not for children.
Diferente*
Katia Grifols (our mastermind at the studio) is part of this amazing roster of Spanish Artists united for a wonderful cause: the creation of Diferente, a comic written by ILEsucero and co-illustrated by over 140 artists, sponsored by Dibujos Por Sonrisas. All participants donated their time, and the proceeds go towards dignifying the lives of refugees.
Diferente tells the story of Jana, a young woman who one day discovers that the world around her changes its appearance at every moment. To visually capture these changes in Jana's reality, each page of Diferente - sometimes even each vignette - is drawn by a different artist. A narrative tour de force that moves between the fantasy genre, the thriller, and the journey of self-discovery and overcoming.
