Interns

Quarantine and all... we keep moving!

Quarantine keeps going… so we keep moving! It’s been an adjustment for sure.. and even if we miss the office very much we figured out a way to still be productive while “working from home”. We adapted as we could and now google hangouts, shared tasks lists and a some sense of humor are our best allies. We also tried that this pandemic affected our interns the less possible. It is hard for interns to go through a selection process and we thought it was not fair to “just let them go.. because!”. So we did all in our hands to adapt our little Creative Blips internship as well. Although we could not give them the “in office experience” we managed to keep working on their personal project so at least "they could get the best part of the experience. And today.. was their very last day! So we will miss the weekly chat with this two and thir spooky personal project! We hope and wish them the best!! And we will take notes.. because who know.. perhaps this unexpected experience opened doors to have interns from everywhere….! Keep an eye on our news!

Time to say goodbye!

Glow in the Dark Concept Studio Toddler Anniversary!

Well our young studio just turned 2 years and a half! We been procrastinating about it (or very busy to celebrate..) but we decided to finally stop and acknowledge it! It was about time that our Collaborators, Interns and Team fully meet each other and have some fun time together outside of the studio offices… so well.. summer nights called for Bbq this year!

Cheers to all this memories and many more!

Sijia and Lydia our Spring 2018 Interns!!

We are very thankful to be able to have in our team Sijia Luo who really helped us out with our Creative Blips look and Lydia Saldajeno who was a life savior when it came to research and organizing our crazy properties! We will miss you both! leant what our Creative Blips thought about their Internship at Glow in the Dark!

We were invited by one of our collaborators to have a Fun last day at the Drewamwork’s Campus!

Denise our Fall 2017 intern!

That sad time of the year when we have to say "Goodbye, see you soon!" to our intern is here again... Sadness!!! This Fall we had the pleasure to have Denise Caro helping around, currently at the Woodbury University Animation program.  To have a proper farewell we visited our collaborators Alberto Corral and Ryan Hansen, at the Dreamworks Campus. We had a good time! We will miss you Denise, really thanks for your help!

CTN-Xperience 2017!!!!!

We survived once more to CTNX! This year was a bit special for us! Not only was the first one fully promoting the studio, but also was the first one trying something different! was kind of scary... but went great! We were very excited to set up on Wednesday night our new booth with our new goodies, new flyers, some stickers, portfolio reviews... and lectures!

We definitely have to thank all our tablemates: Benson Shum, Trent Correy, Michael Woodside and Melany Altuna for being great to be with! Also our great collaborators Ryan Hansen and Annushka Almendros and Denise Caro (Our great intern!) for helping us to hold the fort! And to all of you that came by to say Hi!!, participated in our portfolio review and got interested in meeting with us and learn about the studio!! Was great to see new and old faces!

Thanks to everybody that came to our "From idea to Pitch" panel !!! Was very incredible to see how many of you are interested in pitching and developing original content. The panel was nervewracking for us (The good kind of nervewracking tho!) since it was a full house audience and a great turnout! We definitely had a lot of fun and we hope you all enjoyed as we did!

Thanks also all the CTNX team for their support and extra time for questions!!

Thanks also all the CTNX team for their support and extra time for questions!!

And last but not least, thank you to Casey Robin for inviting Katia Grifols to be part of her great "Freedom of Freelancing" panel this year. Was great to sit once more with Nic Gregory and Alina Chau to discuss the wonders of freelancing! Thanks also to all the people that came or saw our panel live!

And all of that wouldn't have been possible without the invencible teamwork from of our Studio Manager Maureen Macomber and our Studio MasterMind Katia Grifols! So one more time we survived and succeed to the best Animation Convention of the year! Thank you all for being there!
